CaDF vs sYn Player Ratings

Sebek – 8.5
Seeing this new found dominance by Sebek implemented in a game made me a believer. He was a defensive stalwart, shutting down every solo sYn run. Often linked up with Techman when CaDF was on the offensive, and sealed the victory with the second flag of the match. Start to an MVP campaign?
Techman – 8
Hasn’t lost a beat. His high awareness in raping situations led to a lot of the CaDF forays forward. Proper death timing along with doling out as much damage as possible when outnumbered let TechMan get the most out of his life and sYn the least out out of his deaths. He was the definition of fundamentals. Lag spike at 30 minutes could’ve swung the match in sYn’s favor, but it seemed as if he recovered at the last second.
Zeale32 (puffball) – 7.5
Created and capped the first flag run with last ditch fragging while heavily damaged. His special combinations put sYn in tough spots all throughout the match. Outside of the first flag, provided a lot of the cleanup work defensively and in midfield.
Dzaaneez – 6
Definitely out of rhythm in this match, and found himself smoking quite a bit. Not his best performance, but highlighted by a late neutralization of ElAsesino in base.
sYn
ElDiablo – 6
It took until the 20 minute mark to write anything of note for ElDiablo. Almost invisible for the first half of the match, and his overly passive play may have been a testament to his nerves. Picked it up in the second half of the match and although ugly and unsuccessful, should be credited for trying to make it forward for sYn.
Spo0n – 4
Paired often with ElAsesino, and even ElA couldn’t make Spo0n look like he had a rightful place on the field. He was often caught out in terrible positions, leaving himself and his teammates open to rapes. His combos were wild, and he stayed tentative throughout the entire match. An omega in this starting spot would have fit much better.
Badguy – 7
I think he was the only sYn who realized he had to frag. He handled the 1v1 situations that were thrown at him, and that was something sYn desperately needed from the rest of the team to have success in this match. He is at fault for some bad fragging timing, but given the lackluster kill rate of his clanmates, he had little choice. Impressive play for someone who seemed to be inactive.
ElAsesino – 6
Completely shackled by CaDF, as he was the focal point of every rape. It seemed during this match, his ambitions were too Utopian. Not at fault for his low frag count, as his teammates weren’t able to stay alive at the duration that he could. He does have the ability to frag, and he’s going to have to find the balance between martyrdom and aggressive play for sYn to have true success this season.
Im not sure if I would have ranked ElA that low… yeah his K/D was pretty terrible but he wasn’t really focusing on fragging.. he was just providing for his team
ranked him that low? It’s a 1-10 ranking system (implied) and I gave him a point above average.
still…ela not rated above any cadf? considering that he is listed in almost everyones top10, even top5. who knows though, maybe it was a 1 game rating. wasnt there, cant refute.
Just saying.. without ElA, it would have been a breezy 3-0
I have to agree with the rest of the people here. Ela should be ranked higher. Easily one of the best players in that game.
To say he was better than puffball, sebek, or techman that game is insane. I know his team wasn’t as good as his opponent’s, but thats his choice, and we need to start looking past that. That was not top 5 play that game, and aside from some solid defensive work, he really didnt do much except get 2v1′d and 3v1′d. And when those situations occurred he wasn’t putting out the damage that Techman did when outnumbered. If the extra attention given to ElA by CaDF would have helped sYn, I would have ranked him higher. But the truth is that it didnt help his team at all, so he’s going to have to find another way, or sYn’s going to have to find other starters to produce wins against the top clans.
Just please be aware that these ratings are based on their performance from this game and this game alone.
